Dr. Ani Halabi, O.D.
Dr. Ani Halabi's passion for Optometry began when she started acquiring her extensive experience working in a private Optometry practice for over four years while attending Glendale Community College and California State University Northridge (Bachelor of Arts in Biology). She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry after completing her clinical training in VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care, West Lost Angeles VA Health Care Center, Optometric Center of Los Angeles and Las Vegas Low Vision Clinic.
Dr. Halabi's commitment to her community includes being a member of the Glendale Northwest Lions Club and is involved in the sight conservation committee as the coordinator for their vision screenings. She is also a Doctor for the Glendale Healthy Kids program coordinating the vision clinics during the health fairs and also provides eye care for the underprivileged children. |
Dr. Halabi is also a member of the Armenian American Meidical Society of California and was the Eye Clinic Coordinator at the 2011 Health Festival held yearly at the Pacific Edison Community Center. She has been featured on many articles and TV shows in educating the community about the improtance of eye health and also promoting her strong community service in Glendale's Health Festivals. Her accomplishments and achievements in the community have been recognized and honored by the North West Glendale Lions Club, Glendale Healthy Kids, Armenian American Medical Society of California, State Senate and the Glendale Mayor.
Today, Dr. Halabi proudly practices in her own Optometry office in Glendale, California. She specializes in pediatric and adult primary eye care including diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases and also prescribes glasses and contact lenses to provide the best vision care possible. She is one of the few doctors in Glendale to fit specialty contact lenses for regular and irregular astigmatism, post corneal grafts, keratoconic and irregular corneas and post surgical corneas using the latest state of the art equipment for testing and the most up-to-date contact lenses available in the market.
Dr. Halabi was born in Tehran, Iran to Armenian parents and moved to Glendale, California with her family when she was six years old. Dr. Halabi enjoys singing, dancing, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Dr. Halabi's commitment to education includes mentoring for Pre-Optometry students while continuing to be an active alumni. She has been featured on the cover of her alma mater's quarterly class schedule promoting the value of a higher education. She gives back to her community by giving back to the educational institutions she credits with providing her a strong professional base. She volunteers her time every year at the Glendale Unified School District education fair educating parents and students in the field of Optometry.

Dr. Lilit javadian, o.d.
Dr. Lilit Javadian developed her passion for optometry working as an optometric assistant at Glendale Family Optometry while attending California State University, Northridge. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Cell and Molecular Biology.
Pursuing her passion, Dr. Javadian then attended University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry where she graduated at the top of her class and tutored her peers as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. She was bestowed the honor of the Armenian American Scholarship for her academic merit and community service, and she continues to mentor students who are pursuing the field of optometry. Dr. Javadian completed her clinical training at VA Greater Los Angeles Health Center, Vandenberg Airforce Base, Petaluma Health Center, and the Meredith W. Morgan Eye Center. |
During her spare time, Dr. Javadian enjoys traveling, hiking, playing foosball, cooking, reading classic novels and spending quality time with friends and family. Dr. Javadian holds herself to the highest standards in providing quality and personalized vision care, while carefully screening for and treating ocular disease. She happily provides eye exams for patients of all ages. Her focus is in pediatric and adult primary eye care including diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases and LASIK co-management.
